Christine and Victoria's American themed wedding featured red white and blue decorations, a yellow taxi, and a Statue of Liberty!
How we first met:
We first met eight years ago through some mutual friends. We were never really close friends. Then in 2011 we stumbled across each other on a night out and conversation flowed with several drinks, and this is where we had our first kiss. After several dates we were soon inseparable.
When I knew she was the one:
After some tough times we decided to go on a little date and have 'us time' and trying to reconnect with each other, this was back in 2012 and it was a snowy evening. After much conversation and many laughs, I just knew then no matter what we would pull through anything together. Victoria has always had the ability to make me smile through anything and that alone is something I feel any couple needs in life.
The one thing we love most about each other:
Christine: I love Victoria's kindness, she will never judge anyone or anything in life and because of this we are together today.
Victoria: I love that Christine always puts me first, no matter what I'm needing in life she is always there one step ahead making it happen.
We were in London for the day as a birthday present for me (Christine). We had a fantastic day and finished it off with a lovely meal. After dinner we were at St Pancras station, stood outside with no one around and Victoria then asked me to marry her, so overwhelmed by it all I cried a lot! But it's worth it all.
Why we chose our wedding ceremony and reception venues:
We chose our wedding venues on gut instinct, I guess kind of like meeting the 'one' when you know you just know.
What led us to choose Mike Brown Photographic for our photography:
We had seen Mike's work and were very impressed with the quality of it and the variety of options there were to offer. At our meeting with Mike was when we made our decision to choose him. He is incredibly kind and professional, and we both instantly felt comfortable in his company.
Some of the most memorable moments in the day:
This is such a hard one.... the whole day is one big moment that we loved!
How we felt about how the photography went:
We are both very happy with the wedding photos from our big day, all of them really capture such special moments and you can feel the emotion in them all.
was incredible, having some time to relax after all the planning! We were both ready for some down time in the shape of a sun lounger.
Our advice for couples starting to plan their wedding:
Don't ever worry about making cuts on the guest list or decorations! It's your day so do it your way. Definitely plan for a honeymoon, after all the planning and organising you need some time out to spend with your other half.
